This is a Union Position (International Union of Operating Engineers Local 825).Duties and responsibilities for Diesel Truck Mechanic:Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailersConducts regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including tire rotation and oil changesResponsible for repairing, modifying and performing preventative maintenance on fleet vehiclesResponsible for all maintenance to the operation of equipment by completing all required preventive maintenance requirementsTroubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctionsInspects fleet vehicles to ensure that all vehicles are DOT compliant to include brake maintenanceQualifications for Diesel Truck Mechanic:Must have valid Class A CDLExperience with engine diagnostics tools & softwareSkyworks employees are eligible for a variety of generous employee benefits.
