Physician / Family Practice / Massachusetts / Permanent / Primary Care Physician - Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Job

Prima CARE is recruiting a primary care physician to join their established multispecialty group in southeastern Massachusetts. MD or DO training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (Board-certified or -eligible) is required, and the age range of patients can be determined by the provider. They are not considering visa waiver candidates at this time. A recent graduate would be considered, but primary care experience would be a plus. Prima CARE uses eClinicalWorks as their EMR and they leverage technology for optimal communication, efficiency, and productivity. Their patients are admitted to their own Hospitalist team and specialists are readily-available. Night, weekend, and holiday is covered by experienced Prima CARE Nurse Practitioners. Lab, X-ray, and a Walk-in Clinic are available at their various locations. PrimaCARE, based in Fall River, is a 120-physician multispecialty group with 160 providers, including a strong Primary Care base. PrimaCARE is physician-owned and managed, and is an affiliate of the Steward Health Care Network. They have absolute respect for individual practice styles, while insisting on the highest quality of personalized care throughout the group. Practice logistics, including billing, collections, and insurance company contracting are centralized within PrimaCARE, and lab, imaging, specialty consultants, and other supporting services are readily available within Prima CARE. Salary is competitive, and medical/dental coverage, a retirement plan, a CME allowance, and moving expenses are provided. Opportunities for bonuses and partnership in PrimaCARE exist with minimal buy-in. The area is a lovely with various living environments and excellent schools. Providence is only 20 minutes, Boston only 1 hour, and Cape Cod less than an hour away.
