It’s a space where you can develop deep industry expertise, work directly with clients, and grow into leadership roles while making a tangible impact on healthcare delivery.Role SummaryWe are seeking a Senior CCL Developer / Cerner Millennium Consultant to design, develop, and optimize advanced solutions within the Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) environment. This role will support clinical, operational, and regulatory needs through custom CCL development, mPages, reporting, and system integrations.You will partner closely with clinicians, SMEs, and technical teams to translate business and clinical requirements into scalable solutions, ensuring system performance, reliability, and data integrity across implementations, upgrades, and ongoing operations.Role ScopeDesign, develop, and optimize CCL scripts, mPages, reports, and integrations within Cerner MillenniumSupport EHR implementations, upgrades, and data migrations across client environmentsPartner with clinicians, SMEs, and engineers to deliver solutions aligned with workflow and business needsEnsure system performance, data accuracy, and compliance across production environments🔑 Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and optimize complex CCL scripts and queriesCreate and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts for analytics and complianceBuild and enhance custom mPages and components to improve clinician workflowsIdentify and resolve performance issues across scripts, batch jobs, and databasesCollaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutionsSupport EHR implementations, upgrades, and migration effortsCommunicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences✅ Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree or 7+ years of equivalent experience7+ years of experience with Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium)Expert-level experience with CCL and SQLStrong knowledge of Millennium architecture and database schemaExperience with mPages, Discern Expert, DA2, PowerInsight Explorer, and Business ObjectsDeep understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operationsKnowledge of healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, UCDI) and terminologies (SNOMED, CPT, LOINC, RxNorm)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment🌟 Preferred QualificationsExperience with Cerner implementations, upgrades, and migrationsFamiliarity with automation tools and programming languages (Python, Java)Experience working in consulting or client-facing environmentsExposure to multi-team or cross-functional healthcare IT initiatives💡 Preferred SkillsExpertise in performance tuning and query optimizationStrong stakeholder communication and collaboration skillsAbility to translate clinical and business needs into technical solutionsExperience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP Business Objects)Strategic thinking with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes🎯 Ideal Candidate SnapshotSenior Cerner Millennium expert with deep CCL development experienceProven ability to support complex EHR environments and implementationsStrong collaborator who can bridge clinical, technical, and business teamsSkilled at delivering scalable, high-performance solutions in healthcare ITCOMPENSATION:The salary range for this position is $130K–$150K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity.
