You will help clients navigate important family, financial, and estate decisions while serving as a trusted point of contact throughout the process.You will work closely with the attorney, participate in client communication, assist with document preparation and review, support estate and trust administration matters, and help ensure clients receive clear guidance and a high level of care.For the right person, this position offers meaningful responsibility, schedule flexibility, strong benefits, performance-based bonus opportunities, and the ability to contribute in a role where your experience truly matters.What You'll Be DoingClient Communication and Matter SupportParticipate in client meetings and assist with discussions involving estate planning and administration mattersCommunicate directly with clients, providing updates, gathering information, and helping matters move forwardServe as a reliable point of contact for clients, executors, trustees, beneficiaries, and related professionalsHelp clients feel informed, respected, and supported during important legal and family transitionsEstate Planning SupportAssist with drafting and reviewing estate planning documentsPrepare and organize client information for plan design, attorney review, and executionReview documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before signingSupport the attorney with client meeting preparation, follow-up, and document finalizationEstate and Trust AdministrationSupport estate and trust administration matters from intake through completionAssist with probate and administration filings, correspondence, asset information, beneficiary communication, and related documentationWork with executors, trustees, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other professionalsHelp track deadlines, required documents, and next steps to keep matters organized and movingDocument Drafting, Systems, and WorkflowDraft and organize documents using estate planning and administration softwareMaintain accurate client files and matter recordsUse Microsoft 365, CosmoLex, Lawmatics, and related systems to support workflow and communicationContribute to process improvements that support accuracy, efficiency, and client serviceRequirements3 to 5 years of current experience in Pennsylvania estate planning, estate administration, probate, or trust administrationExperience drafting estate planning documents and supporting estate or trust administration mattersStrong understanding of Pennsylvania estate and probate processesConfidence communicating with clients in a professional, compassionate, and clear mannerStrong organization, follow-through, and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple matters and deadlines with accuracyComfort using legal software, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based systemsParalegal certificate, relevant education, or equivalent experience preferredA steady, client-centered professional who enjoys being trusted with meaningful responsibilityWork EnvironmentHybrid work is preferred, with periodic in-office presence in Johnstown, PA for client meetings, team collaboration, and firm needsRemote candidates may be considered if they bring strong, current Pennsylvania estate planning and estate administration experience and can work effectively with the firm's systems, communication expectations, and client service standardsCandidates located within reasonable driving distance of Johnstown, PA are strongly encouraged to applyAbout The FirmAyres Presser Elder Law is dedicated to guiding individuals and families through some of life's most important and often challenging transitions.
