The company supports a range of industries including aerospace, healthcare, and high-tech manufacturing, with a strong emphasis on innovation, quality, and operational excellence.Role SummaryThe Programmer Analyst will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications that support critical business operations. This position is responsible for the full software development lifecycle and partners closely with stakeholders in Chatsworth, California to drive process improvements, enhance system performance, and ensure reliable application delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that improve efficiency and automationDesign, develop, test, and implement enterprise applications and system enhancementsCreate detailed system specifications, workflows, and database designs for complex applicationsMaintain and support ERP systems and related business applicationsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutionsMonitor system performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement improvementsTroubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely and effective mannerDevelop and execute test plans to ensure application quality and reliabilityDocument technical specifications, processes, and user guidesSupport deployment activities and provide ongoing production supportContribute to quality assurance standards and continuous improvement initiativesCompensation & Benefits$90,000-$125,000 plus discretionary bonusCompetitive benefits package, including health coverage, retirement plans, and paid time offAdditional DetailsWork model: 100% on-siteFlexible scheduling within standard business hoursParticipation in rotating on-call support as neededOpportunity to contribute across the full development lifecycle in a collaborative environmentRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in a Programmer Analyst or similar roleStrong experience with ERP systems and enterprise application developmentProficiency in RPG programmingExperience working with IBM i / AS400 environmentsDemonstrated ability to design and develop end-to-end applicationsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsExperience gathering business requirements and delivering technical solutionsExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyExperience supporting manufacturing or supply chain operationsPreferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred)Experience with multiple programming languages or modern application frameworksFamiliarity with enterprise databases and reporting toolsExperience leading projects or contributing to full lifecycle system implementationsExposure to web or client-server application development environmentsFor immediate consideration, apply now and send resume directly to Reid Gormly on LinkedIN.Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
