Logistics Specialist

?? About the RoleWe are looking for a SAP Logistics / Material Flow Analyst to support and optimize production and logistics systems at Plant Spartanburg. This role plays a critical part in ensuring seamless material flow, inventory control, and system efficiency across production operations.You will work closely with production, logistics, and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, drive process improvements, and support SAP-based logistics systems?? Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor WIP (Work-in-Progress) to ensure smooth production flow and inventory movementManage and control logistics processes using SAP IM/WM systemsTroubleshoot and resolve issues across process, hardware, and software layersSupport PLC-SAP interfaces and replenishment systemsAnalyze KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiativesLead UAT testing, system enhancements, and go-live activitiesMaintain accurate SAP master data and inventory recordsAct as a key user for logistics systems (training, access control, documentation)Collaborate with IT (2nd/3rd level support) for issue resolution and change managementLead small to mid-sized projects and process optimization initiativesDrive Lean / Continuous Improvement (CI) practices and waste reduction ? Required Skills & Experience4+ years in logistics/material flow or SAP key user rolesStrong experience with SAP WM / IMExperience in troubleshooting, testing, and system enhancementsKnowledge of production logistics, inventory control, and replenishment systemsHands-on experience with continuous improvement / lean manufacturingAbility to translate business requirements into functional specificationsExperience working in cross-functional teams?? Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or related fieldExperience in automotive manufacturing environmentSix Sigma Green/Black Belt certification (preferred)
