Warehouse Lead

Warehouse LeadOur client is hiring a hands-on Warehouse Lead for a direct-hire opportunity in Romeoville. If you're an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys leading a team, managing inventory, and keeping operations running smoothly, this role is for you. What You'll Do Lead daily warehouse operations: inbound/outbound shipments, order prep, and inventory accuracy Verify shipments, document discrepancies, maintain lot-tracking, and support cycle counts/month-end close Operate forklifts, use barcode scanners, ERP systems, and UPS/FedEx terminals Prepare shipping documents, select carriers, and coordinate trailer loading/pickups Train new hires, manage time-off requests, approve timecards, and support hiring/onboarding Assist with process improvements and annual ISO audits What We're Looking For 4+ years of warehouse experience and certified forklift trainer credentials Strong communication, leadership, and multitasking skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP experience (Oracle/D365) a plus Detail-driven, proactive, and able to manage shifting priorities with urgency Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Warehouse Lead: 3 years (Required)
