Enterprise Architect - SAP Modernization

This position is to champion CONA’s technology modernization agenda by leveraging SAP Fiori as the core enabler for seamless user experiences and future-ready clean core digital platforms using SAP BTP & Integration Suite. It will guide strategic adoption to maximize user engagement and deliver measurable business value. The position is located at CONA Services LLC headquarters in Atlanta, Ga. Presence in the office is required per the CONA policy. KEY RELATIONSHIPSReports to: Chief Information OfficerDirect reports: DevelopersOther key relationships:Chief Product OfficersProduct OwnersProduct ArchitectsDevelopers RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Planning: Develop and refine the long-term technology modernization and user experience solution strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, market trends, and digital transformation objectives.Portfolio Modernization Roadmap Execution: Oversee portfolio assessments to identify modernization opportunities, rationalize enterprise applications, and champion the adoption of modern architectures and platforms (cloud, microservices, automation). Spearhead SAP S/4HANA modernization projects, emphasizing SAP Fiori UX, SAP Clean core, and leveraging SAP BTP across the enterprise.Programming and development in SAP Fiori, BTP, SAPUI5.Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with executive leadership, business units, IT architects, and external partners to build consensus and secure buy-in for modernization initiatives.Innovation Enablement: Foster a culture of innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and frameworks, piloting new solutions, and scaling successes across the enterprise.Risk and Compliance Oversight: Ensure modernization projects comply with regulatory requirements, cybersecurity policies, and risk management frameworks.Development Vendor selection and management documentationInvestment Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analyses and develop business cases to support modernization investments, driving efficiency and return on technology spend.Performance Tracking: Establish KPIs for modernization success, monitor progress, and report outcomes to senior leadership.External Partnership Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, consultants, and strategic partners to accelerate modernization efforts.Manage development resource assignments to featuresConduct continuous performance reviews with team both internal and externalResponsible for and provide guidance to meet key project delivery metrics Work in tools such as Octane and CONFiRM. Practice self-leadership and promote learning in others by building relationships with cross-functional stakeholders; communicate information and provide advice to drive projects forward; influencing team members.Comfortable interacting with Sr. Executives at all levels. Provide high level support to resolve difficult, complex, and sensitive problems with projects resulting in meeting/exceeding customer service levels. Responsible for ensuring all product related SLAs and CONA metrics are being met (CRs, PRBs, INCs, CHG, cost estimate accuracy, time management etc.)Business / budget planning and managementInspire, lead, direct and coach employee, contractor, vendor and partner teamsWHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT?Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.Experience: 10+ years in technology strategy, IT transformation, enterprise architecture, or related leadership roles, with proven success in large-scale modernization initiatives.Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of SAP ERP transformation with Fiori UX S/4 Clean-core, BTP landscape and platform strategy, cloud migration strategies, enterprise architecture frameworks, and emerging technologies.Experience with SAP RISE.
