Services are delivered through outpatient appointments and special programs, supporting patient wellness and integrative care goals.This role requires strong communication skills, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to promoting the value of massage therapy within the community. As part of the team, the Massage Therapist ensures all services align with the mission and SPIRIT values of LifeBridge Health.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver massage therapy and approved body/energy work based on appointment type and patient needsPerform assessments and establish individualized treatment goals with patientsMaintain an efficient daily schedule while managing patient flow independently and collaborativelyComplete timely and accurate documentation for each sessionPrepare and disinfect treatment rooms and equipment according to established protocolsCommunicate clearly with patients, staff, and the multidisciplinary teamEducate patients on treatment expectations and ongoing careMaintain a safe environment by adhering to hospital policies and proceduresOptimize use of space and supplies; identify opportunities for process improvementCommunicate supply or operational needs proactively to the teamSupport marketing and promotion of integrative health services as neededPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsRequired:Current Maryland Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT, not RMP)Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationPreferred:Oncology Massage certificationPerinatal Massage certificationLymphatic MassagecertificationAdditional therapeutic modalities such as Reiki, reflexology, or similarIdeal CandidateStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamCommitment to patient-centered care and integrative health practicesHighly organized with strong time-management skillsAdditional InformationWho We Are:LifeBridge Health is a dynamic, purpose-driven health system redefining care delivery across the mid-Atlantic and beyond, anchored by our mission to "improve the health of people in the communities we serve."
