DutiesMakes repairs by removing, cleaning, replacing and sealing defective parts of lawn irrigation systems.Repairs/replaces sprinkler heads, piping, valves, couplings and other associated parts to include automatic control timers.Measures, cuts and threads pipe, bending sections to desired curvature and assembling for installation.Maintains adequate supply of repair parts.Performs other duties as assigned.RequirementsConditions of employmentDirect Deposit and Social Security Card is required.Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.A one-year probationary period may be required.Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.Incumbent may also be required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.Incumbent must be able to lift up to 50lbs.A physical maybe required.QualificationsResumes must be two pages (or less).
