This role offers direct hands-on work, customer interaction, and continuous learning in a team-focused setting with opportunities for professional growth.Responsibilities- Deliver on-site support for Dell servers and data center infrastructure, ensuring rapid issue resolution.- Perform hardware maintenance including server builds, swaps, component replacements, and firmware updates.- Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, and OS issues, escalating as needed per established procedures.- Execute reactive and preventive maintenance tasks, following detailed plans of action.- Collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to provide clear communication during service events.- Document all work in real-time, contributing to shared knowledge and best practices.- Participate in on-call rotations and provide extended coverage when required.Required Skills and Experience- 3-5+ years in technical support, field service, or data center roles.- Proven hands-on experience with server hardware (CPU, memory, power supplies, GPUs, server builds).- Skilled at server swaps, deployments, and component replacements.- Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems.- Strong troubleshooting abilities and independent problem-solving skills.- Experience documenting technical work with attention to detail.- Comfortable with physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs) and traveling to customer sites.- Outstanding communication and customer service skills.- Track record of reliability, work ethic, and ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure environments.Preferred Skills- Experience with water-cooled servers.- Dell or other vendor certifications.- Prior experience building PCs.- Demonstrated ability to stay current with technology trends and best practices.Benefits- Work with leading-edge server and AI technologies.- Gain exposure to enterprise data center operations.- Access to continuous learning and professional development.- Collaborative, supportive team culture.- Flexible schedule, including shift and on-call opportunities.How to ApplyReady to take the next step in your technical career?
