Our client is a rapidly growing structural steel and miscellaneous metals organization operating as part of a larger North American steel platform with integrated fabrication and installation operations across multiple affiliated companies.With capabilities spanning estimating, engineering, fabrication, delivery, and installation, the organization supports commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects throughout New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. The company combines the stability and resources of a larger enterprise with the flexibility and culture of a locally managed leadership team.This is an exciting opportunity for a senior-level structural steel Project Manager ready to take on a broader operational leadership role in an expanding organization focused on process improvement, accountability, collaboration, and long-term growth.The OpportunityThe Project Director will oversee a team of Project Managers while helping drive operational consistency, communication, and execution across the business.This role is ideal for someone who understands the full lifecycle of steel fabrication and installation projects and is ready to transition from project execution into operational leadership.The organization utilizes EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) principles and modern operational systems designed to support scalability, leadership development, and operational excellence.This is not a sales-focused role. The company is seeking a calm, highly organized operational leader who thrives in structured environments and enjoys mentoring teams, improving systems, and driving accountability.What We Are Seeking10+ years of structural steel industry experienceStrong project management background within steel fabrication and/or miscellaneous metalsExperience overseeing or mentoring multiple Project ManagersOperational leadership and organizational management skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesProcess-driven and systems-oriented mindsetAbility to collaborate across fabrication, production, estimating, and installation teamsEngineering or technical construction background preferredExperience within both GC and steel subcontractor environments is highly desirableResponsibilitiesLead and mentor Project Managers across multiple projectsOversee operational execution throughout New Jersey and Eastern PennsylvaniaSupport coordination between fabrication and field installation operationsImprove and maintain operational processes and proceduresCollaborate with estimating, production, and leadership teamsParticipate in operational planning and leadership initiativesMaintain accountability, communication, and project standards across the organizationCulture & EnvironmentThe organization offers a collaborative, growth-oriented environment focused on:operational excellenceprofessionalismaccountabilityrespectful communicationleadership development.Our client values team-oriented leadership and fosters a culture of collaboration through annual leadership events, conferences, and team-building activities.
