Our young clients, aged birth through 21, often rely on medical technologies such as tracheostomies, ventilators, or gastrostomy tubes. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Compensation and Benefits: Competitive Pay Flexible Working Hours Positive Work Environment Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Responsibilities: Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members Accurately monitor and track clients’ overall health and medical history during every visit Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature, heart rate etc. Change bandages, wound dressings, and catheters, among other related healthcare tasks Verify clients are taking the correct dosages of medications Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises Remain on-call for clients who have healthcare emergencies Provide emotional and psychological support to the client and family members as needed Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in nursing 1+ years’ nursing experience preferred Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification Current LPN license in the state Access to reliable transportation Ability to work independently and with directions Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed Exceptional customer service skills Compassionate and friendly demeanor We offer a $1000 cash referral fee for children on Medicaid who could benefit from medical care at home. We assist with enrolling children from neonatal age up to 21 years old in the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP), a Pediatric Medicaid Waiver program. If a child is already enrolled in GAPP, we provide a seamless transfer process for the following month.
