Department of Neurosurgery – Spine Surgery Focus The Neurological Institute is seeking an experienced, visionary leader and board-certified neurosurgeon with a specialization inspine surgeryto join our team. We are specifically seeking a candidate withextensive expertise in spine surgery —including advanced procedures and minimally invasive techniques—who can drive innovation, foster growth, and ensure the delivery of the highest quality patient care across our Cleveland Clinic Martin Health location in Florida. You will join a team of dedicated neurosurgeons, physicians, and support staff, collaborating across departments to advance clinical services, research initiatives, education, and operational excellence. This role requires a passionate and strategic leader capable of elevating spine care within a comprehensive neurosurgery program. Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic and clinical leadership for the Department of Neurosurgery with a focus on spine surgery. Drive excellence in patient outcomes, safety, and experience. Support the expansion of advanced spine services and technologies. Promote academic and clinical research within neurosurgery, particularly in spine-related areas. Foster collaborative partnerships across disciplines and care teams. QualificationsMedical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification in Neurosurgery. Fellowship training or significant clinical experience inspine surgeryis required. Demonstrated leadership experience in a neurosurgery department or healthcare leadership role. Proven success managing clinical, operational, and academic programs. Strong commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Academic or clinical research experience with an interest in advancing neurosurgical knowledge. Desired QualificationsExperience building and growing a spine surgery program with high clinical volume and outcomes. Established ties to the Florida medical community preferred. Active involvement in national neurosurgical and spine-related associations.
