The intern will contribute to various projects, such as content creation and social media campaigns. This position offers an opportunity to build real-world skills in digital marketing, content creation, graphic design, and strategic messaging.Key Responsibilities:Content Creation: Assist in writing and editing content for digital social media platforms, including Instagram, LinkedIn, and newsletters. Help craft compelling visuals that align with CJ's brand and messagingSocial Media Support: Monitor social media channels, assist in creating posts, and help track performance metrics to measure engagement and effectiveness. Contribute to the development of creative campaignsEvent Promotion: Assist with event logistics and marketing efforts for corporate and public events, including social media promotionResearch & Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in communications and marketing. Assist in tracking media coverage and compiling reports on marketing effortsBasic Qualifications:Ideal Candidates Have Undergraduate Studies in: Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Media Studies, Business, or a related fieldStrong Writing & Editing Skills: Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, concise, and engaging content for various social media platformsCreativity & Attention to Detail: Ability to brainstorm new marketing ideas and bring them to life through compelling visuals and creative messaging. A keen eye for detail is essentialTeam Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing ideas and supporting team members to meet project goalsOrganization & Time Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects at onceCreative Mindset and Basic Design Skills: Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe InDesign) is a must for creating social media graphics and other marketing materialsTechnical Proficiency: Comfortable with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint), as well as familiarity with email marketing tools (e.g., MailChimp) and basic website managementInterest in Communications & Marketing: A passion for storytelling, digital marketing, branding, and communications. Prior experience in marketing or communications (through coursework or previous internships) is a plusAt least 18 years of age by June 21, 2026Capable of commuting to our New York office from Monday to Thursday (*Remote work options are not available)Authorized to work in the United StatesThe anticipated hourly wage range for interns who will work in New York is $23 per hour to $26 per hour.
