Job Summary:
The Facility Coordinator will oversee the maintenance and repairs of electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), carpentry, painting, and all building systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Oversees the day-to-day operations to maintain the building.
· Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed.
· Assesses building systems to plan work assignments and project schedules.
· Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.
· Assists with departmental budget estimates and costs of specific repair projects.
· Schedules and organizes work projects with contractors.
· Set up new credentials for existing key card access and configure system settings.
· Implement new alarm system and establish security service.
· Knowledge of building codes/permit requirements for managing application submissions.
· Schedule and oversee all building inspections.
· Monitor and conduct filter replacements for furnace systems.
· Create/update contractor’s list for ongoing and future projects, while maintaining a strong relationship as the “point of contact”.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed
· Ability to plan maintenance schedules for building systems
· Excellent management and supervisory skills
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years maintenance and building supervisor experience required
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to traverse property and facility to diagnose building issues and plan repairs or maintenance
Must be physically able to perform repairs when needed
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time
Must be able to rearrange schedule at any given time due to unexpected issues that may arise
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
