Occupational TherapistThe Occupational Therapist will assess and treat children (18 months - 21 years) with autism spectrum disorder, focusing on motor skills, self-care development, and sensory processing interventions. This role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and direct service delivery across multiple clinic locations.Salary Range: $75,000 to $80,000 (based on experience)Essential Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive OT assessments using standardized tools for motor, self-care, and sensory processing delaysDevelop and implement evidence-based individualized Plans of Care with 30-day and 90-day progress reviewsIntegrate OT interventions into Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programming through team collaborationProvide direct therapy services including sensory diets and skilled treatment interventionsTrain clinical staff, caregivers, and community providers on OT strategies and implementationCoordinate care with external OT providers and participate in Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) developmentMaintain accurate clinical documentation and assist with prior authorization processesAttend monthly meetings with SPOT Coordinators and/or CEOOther Responsibilities:Provide clinical supervision and training to behavior therapists and clinical staffRespond to service referrals and communications within 24 hoursUtilize time-reporting systems for billing complianceMaintain professional licensure and complete continuing education requirementsMinimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Occupational TherapyCurrent Minnesota OT licensure and NBCOT certificationFull-time availability with willingness to work across multiple locationsPhysical ability to lift 50 pounds, kneel/bend frequently, respond quickly to safety situations, and remain physically engaged for 7+ hours dailyPreferred Qualifications:1+ years of occupational therapy experienceExperience working with autism spectrum disorder populationsBackground collaborating with Speech-Language Pathologists and ABA therapistsBenefits Package:Competitive PTO and paid holidaysMedical, dental, and vision insurance with employer contribution401(k) with generous employer matchingEmployer-paid life and disability insuranceStudent loan repayment assistance programAbout Minnesota Autism Center (MAC): Founded in 1996, MAC provides specialized therapeutic services to 370-400 children with autism spectrum disorder across 22 Minnesota locations.
