We offer paid-training!Paid to be outdoors and be activePaid training - no prior training necessaryPromotion from within/several advancement opportunitiesWhat would my hours look like?Full Time8 hour shiftMonday-FridaySaturday's on a situational basisSalary: $19 /hr guaranteed base pay with Commissions making it upwards of $29/hrLocation: Weed Man Annapolis, MDPerks of the job:Average earners make $24 - $29 per hourThis is broken down by Hourly + CommissionYear-round, full-time opportunities with marketing and lead generation.Bonus + Commission opportunitiesPaid time off/paid holidaysHealth, dental, and vision insuranceThe Role of a Lawn Care Technician:Market our products and services to potential customersObtain names and phone numbers of potential customersDistribute necessary promotional materialMeet with current and prospective customers and exceed customer service standardsProvide lawn care quotesGenerate field sales (additional commission rewarded)Observe and report lawn conditions to customersComplete daily truck checkout proceduresGet and maintain your pesticide applicator licenseDrive company vehiclesClear communication with your team and/or supervisorProvide professional lawn care services to customers, including applications of fertilizer, lime, weed, insect, disease, grub, mole & mosquito control, aeration, and seedingPerform lawn analyses, including measuring the turf, identifying lawn problems, and identifying accurate pricing for servicesCommunicate with customers as the front-line contact between homeowners and your Weed Man officeProperly and safely maintain equipmentSafely and knowledgeably handle, mix, transport, and apply chemical productsComplete assigned daily work, associated paperwork, and administrative requirements related to the positionRequirements:Valid driver’s license with clean driving recordHave a clean criminal recordLegal documentation to verify employment eligibilityClear verbal and written communication skillsAble to work 8-10 hours per day (including some Saturdays during peak season)Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (8-10 hours per day)Ability to work in various weather conditionsAdhere to company policies which can be found in the employee handbook (i.e., drug, alcohol, tobacco, cell phone, attendance, etc.)Self-motivated and will initiate action when neededRequires minimum supervision, but knows when to ask for assistanceAccepts feedback from fellow team membersJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceExperience:Customer service: 1 year (Required)License/Certification:Driver's License (Required)Ability to Commute:Annapolis, MD 21401 (Required)Work Location: In person
