The educational experience provided to our students and their families is rooted in a higher calling from God to honor and celebrate the gifts He has given us.Job SummaryThe Part-Time Resource Teacher provides targeted academic support to students with diverse learning needs. Working within the mission of Catholic education, the teacher collaborates with classroom teachers to help students succeed academically while fostering dignity, inclusion, and faith-based values.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide small-group and one-on-one instruction in reading, writing, and/or mathSupport students with learning differences, academic gaps, or identified needsAssist in implementing accommodations and modifications within the classroomCollaborate with classroom teachers to plan and adapt instructionMonitor student progress and maintain documentation of interventionsUse assessments to guide instruction and adjust support strategiesHelp develop and implement support plans (e.g., learning plans or intervention plans)Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress as appropriateMaintain a structured, supportive, and respectful learning environmentIntegrate Catholic values and promote a culture of inclusion and compassionParticipate in faculty meetings and school activities as requiredJob RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or related fieldValid teaching certification (requirements vary by diocese/state)Experience working with students with diverse learning needsUnderstanding of differentiated instruction and intervention strategiesThe Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
