Duties
Assist in supervising daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives
Oversee customer service standards to guarantee a positive shopping experience for all clients
Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, ordering, and merchandising to maximize sales potential
Handle cash register operations, POS systems, and cash handling procedures accurately and securely
Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new employees
Coordinate shift schedules, monitor sales performance, and implement marketing strategies to boost store visibility
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records and assist with payroll processing as needed
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies at all times
Skills
Proven management experience within retail environments, including assistant manager roles or supervisory positions
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams effectively
Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
Proficiency in retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management techniques
Skilled in inventory management systems, POS technology, and merchandising principles
Demonstrated ability in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution
Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, and interviewing techniques
Knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks
Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail and time management abilities
Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
