Project Manager II - Commercial ConstructionApple Valley, MN | Direct Hire | $110-130kWe're partnering with a well-respected commercial general contractor to hire an experienced Project Manager II who brings a rare combination of strong project execution and exceptional proposal writing skills. This role is ideal for a construction professional who not only excels at managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, but also plays a key role in RFP responses, pursuit strategy, and winning new work. You'll be a visible contributor to both operations and business development, helping shape how the company presents itself to clients and partners.Construction Project Manager II Responsibilities:Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring strong performance in safety, schedule, quality, and costLead and support RFP responses and proposal development, partnering with leadership and business development teamsContribute to pursuit strategy, client presentations, and interview preparationSupport preconstruction efforts including estimating, scope development, and bid preparationReview contract documents and site conditions to guide construction means and methodsForecast project financials and prepare monthly reports and project reviewsLead owner, architect, and subcontractor meetingsBuild and maintain strong client relationships and support business development through industry engagementConstruction Project Manager II Requirements:Minimum 6+ years of full-scope project management experience in commercial constructionProven strength in construction proposal writing, including RFP responses, scope narratives, and interview materialsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferredStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailExcellent written communication skills with the ability to translate technical content into clear, client-facing proposalsWorking knowledge of Procore preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentBenefits:Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceShort- and long-term disability, life insurance401(k) retirement planGenerous paid time offSupportive work environment with strong leadership accessBe the first to learn about future positions by joining our Newsletter and following us on LinkedIn!Konik is an equal opportunity employer.
