What does team do: This group does the deployment work for all of APS, they create custom utilities for enterprise standard tools. They also do a lot of troubleshooting work as well so that will be important skillset to have.2.) Location: SLC or TXTop Skills: AWS- EKS Pipelining in Jenkins for CI/CD Scripting Ability in Python, for automation most of the teams scripts are written in Python.Interview Process: 2 rounds, first round with HM, then 2nd round will be more technical.Description:Our DevOps team supports AWS cloud deployment, cloud administration and maintenance and audit compliance for the business unit. The associate will join the team as a Senior DevOps engineer. The team member will perform the following:work with application team to support their application deployment.develop common pipeline utilities to be used by other teams.manage AWS cloud accounts and perform routine maintenance.create code templates and document standard procedures.monitor infrastructure components for cost and performance.provide on-call support on a scheduled rotation.The Expertise and Skills You Bring:Required:Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.3-5 Years of experience in software development with Python, NodeJS, or Java with a focus on SDLC and automation.Preferred:2-5 years of experience in Cloud development (AWS) and migration skills; Experience with building and operating highly resilient platforms in AWS cloud environments.1-2 years of Azure setup, maintenance and administration.Hands-on experience working with containers (Kubernetes) and serverless applications (Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, S3).Understanding of SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) principles with supporting skills and experience in creating scalable and reliable software systems.Working experience with Infrastructure as Code -- Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation Templates.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Core.Scripting ability in PowerShell or Bash Shell Unix Scripting.Knowledge of basic sysadmin skills in Linux, Networking, Load Balancing.Good demeanor towards solving problems skills that span systems, network, and applications.Strong team focus with good relationship building skills + work with broader distributed team.Strong written and verbal communications skills.
