For more information, please visit www.next-decade.com.Summary Of The RoleThe Specialist, Rotating Equipment reporting to the Manager Reliability provides frontline specialist technical expertise in rotating equipment Operations and Maintenance. The Specialist, Rotating Equipment will support Reliability Engineers, Specialist - Condition Monitoring and Rotating Equipment Engineers to ensure optimum rotating equipment performance and quality of maintenance execution. The position will be based in Brownsville, TX., permanently. Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with the Rotating Equipment Engineering team, the improvements in Rotating Equipment Maintenance Strategies and Work instructionsLead Turnaround and major maintenance planning of rotating equipmentLead management of Long Term Service Contracts, Service Bulletins, and Rotating Equipment special tools, with the support from the Rotating equipment engineersDevelop and optimize Rotating Equipment Turnaround work scopes with support from Maintenance and discipline engineersDevelop and maintain Maintenance QA/QC plans / records for Turnarounds, Corrective and Planned Maintenance for Rotating EquipmentOversee Rotating equipment alignment and execution. Validate alignment, clearances during and post-maintenance in line with the QA /QC plansSupport Maintenance Execution team for the repair/overhaul and refurbishment of Rotating Equipment during normal plant operations and plant OutagesManage Rotating Equipment Spare parts preservation quality assuranceInterpret OEM manuals, technical drawings, and support BOM development, ensure correct part numbers and monitor inventory to align with maintenance strategiesDrive Vendor workshop quality assurance, with the support from Discipline Rotating equipment engineersProvide field support for unplanned events or equipment upsetsSupport management of Company Condition Monitoring programs for Rotating equipmentParticipate and contribute in RCA studies and RCM workshopsSupport the efforts geared to achieving Key Performance targets for the RGLNG Reliability TeamMINUMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering discipline or Trade certification or equivalent industry experience10+ years of hands on Rotating Equipment Operations and Maintenance support experience with an OEM or plant Operator3+ years LNG experience5+ years of experience in Maintenance and Operations support in the upstream or midstream oil and gas or downstream petrochemical sectorsRCA facilitation experiencePREFFERED REQUIREMENTS:SAP S4 HANA ExperienceJob Site Work Environment Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions Operates in a complex construction environment Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes.
