Senior Analytics Engineer
Role OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Analytics Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our data modeling and ETL pipelines. You’ll own high-impact projects, directly engage with stakeholders, and help define our long-term data modeling methodology. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on building scalable, tested, and observable data solutions in fast-paced environments.Key ResponsibilitiesData Modeling & Architecture:Design and maintain complex, scalable data models for analytics and reporting.Build end-to-end data marts with strong focus on testing, observability, and usage tracking.ETL Development & Optimization:Architect and manage ETL pipelines using DBT (5+ years required) and tools like Fivetran.Enforce best practices for data quality, performance, and reliability.Stakeholder Leadership:Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.Partner with analytics engineers and analysts to deliver high-quality data products.Tooling & Process Ownership:Use GitHub for collaborative version control.Facilitate design workshops using tools like Figma, FigJam, or Miro.Define and enforce data modeling standards and practices.Mentorship & Strategic Input:Guide junior analytics engineers in technical and professional growth.Contribute to strategic planning for the company’s data infrastructure.Background & Skills5+ years of production experience with DBT.Proven experience in B2B SaaS, B2C digital products, CPG e-commerce, or health datasets.Strong SQL expertise and cloud data warehouse proficiency (BigQuery or Snowflake).Proficient with GitHub workflows and collaborative development practices.Track record of working with small teams in startups or consulting/agency environments.Experience leading stakeholder engagements and managing requirements end-to-end.Preferred: Python, BI tools (Looker/Tableau), SQL linters (SqlFluff).Availability to work until 12 PM US Central Time.Traits & MindsetStrategic thinker who connects data solutions to business impact.Builder mentality — enjoys architecting from scratch and iterating for improvement.Excellent communicator, both technical and non-technical.Collaborative leader who fosters growth in teammates.Benefits & CultureCompetitive salary and equity opportunities.Opportunity to be part of a founding team building innovative AI products.Fast-paced environment where your work has immediate impact.A team that values collaboration, learning, and cutting-edge innovation.How to ApplyFill up this form: https://brainforge.notion.site/24e7908b1268803dbaa8f544cd5ea0f7?pvs=105
