Medical Laboratory Technician Location: Knoxville, TN Agency: Compunnel Healthcare Pay: $1,000 to $1,080 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/15/2026 About the Position Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing in Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Blood Bank, Immunology, and Urinalysis Collect, process, label, and analyze blood, urine, and other patient specimens Operate, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analyzers Shift: NIGHTS- 6P-630A - 3x12's alternating weekends NO CALL FLOATING TO LAB NO 48 HOUR OPTION NO BLOCK SCHEDULING Requirements Chemistry, hematology, Blood Bank experience preferred 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE Associate degree from an accredited Medical Lab Technician program or equivalent from an institution of higher education as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education preferred. 1) Valid MLT certification through TN State Licensure, ASCP, AMT,AAB, HHS, or equivalent accrediting agency required. TN State license is preferred. OR 2) Meet CLIA - On or before April 24, 1995 be a high school graduate or equivalent and successfully completed an official U.S. military medical laboratory procedures training course of at least 50 weeks duration and have held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (Laboratory Technician) SCRUB COLOR - GRAY EMR- CERNER
