Pharmacy TechnicianThis is a full-time position Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-6:30 pm.Position SummaryThe Pharmacy Technician is responsible for performing clerical and technical tasks within the pharmacy operations. This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager. Must hold Pharmacy Technician Certification.Position ResponsibilitiesPerforms clerical and technical functions for the pharmacistTypes labels or makes entries into the computer system, including prescription informationPerform cashier function including end of day processing and bank depositsParticipate in patient drug assistance program processingParticipate in internal quality improvement programsInteract with patients and staff in a pleasant and professional mannerCommunicate with insurance companies, drug program representatives and any third parties that's deemed necessaryCertificates And Licenses• Florida Pharmacy Technician Registration
