Teacher 7-12 ELA- Probationary

GENERAL DESCRIPTION : CiTi BOCES is seeking a passionate and dedicated ELA Teacher to join our program, an all-day school program for students in Oswego County in grades 7-12. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English Language Arts and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. This position involves delivering engaging and differentiated instruction to students, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to support student success.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Plan and deliver ELA lessons that align with NYS standards and the curriculum.Prepare students for success on ELA regents examCreate a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students in the program.Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and family correspondence.
