We are looking for a full-time tax and accounting manager with a projected start date of October 28, 2024, but would definitely consider a start date much sooner.You have the opportunity to join a small, but growing, CPA firm in Jacksonville, FL and learn in a relaxed and professional environment.Requirements:Individual and business tax experience, 4 years plusQuickbooks accounting experience, 3 years plusCPA or Enrolled Agent LicenseDesire to research and understand tax law and latest tax actsAbility to find solutions for clients and supervisorsStrong knowledge of Excel and Word and ability to use latest technology to improve efficiencies. Detail oriented, self-starterPersonableDemonstrate longevity at prior tax/accounting jobsAdditional Considerations For Higher CompensationExperience with 1099 filing Requirements 2 plus yearsExperience in Sales Tax Filings/Research 2 plus yearsExperience in Florida Tangible Property Tax 2 plus yearsExperience working with UltraTaxResponsibilities:Preparation and supervision of business and individual tax returns, tax planning and strategizingMonthly accounting and supervision of Quickbooks Online and Accounting PowerVarious other tax and accounting jobs.
