Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations Manager of EVS (Environmental Services) during the 2nd shift, located in the Houma-Thibodaux area. The Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of environmental services to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the facility. Responsibilities include managing and supervising team members, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines, monitoring performance metrics, and developing strategies for operational efficiency. The role also involves coordinating department schedules, implementing training programs, and driving quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Leadership and team management skills to recruit, train, supervise, and oversee environmental services staffKnowledge of safety and compliance standards in healthcare settings, including regulations related to infection control and sanitationOrganizational and operational skills, including scheduling, resource management, and performance monitoringProblem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on process improvement and quality assuranceStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, healthcare staff, and other stakeholdersRelevant experience in healthcare environmental services or facilities management is highly desirableProficiency with basic computer applications for scheduling and reporting purposesBachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field is preferred
