We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant to join our team.This is a full-time, internal corporate position working on the Marketing Technology & Transformation side of Sumeru Inc. from our LA office.The core focus of this position is to manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations for multiple clients across diverse industries and use cases. We are seeking candidates who possess a range of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Marketing Strategy skills.What you'll do:Meet with clients to analyze their work practices and understand their businesses to define needs and customize solutions using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platformProvide oversight and governance of best-practice standards and frameworks for client's Marketing Cloud system and integrated MarTech stackEnsure sound integration, data, and business architecture design throughout all stages of the project lifecycleWork with stakeholders to define business-value based objectives and user storiesDevelop the Architectural Roadmap for Marketing Cloud implementationsEstablish the technical framework to support the client's strategy and lifecycleDevelop innovative solutions, taking into consideration system performance, scalability, and availability with realistic implementation schedulesGuide and advise on the Marketing Cloud features, functionality, and additional integrations needed to accomplish the desired outcome.Keep up to date on Marketing Cloud functionality and make recommendations regarding potential usage and optimizations for existing clientsParticipate in complex discussions with client stakeholders, partners, or technology, particularly when determining the technical requirements/capabilities needed to meet business goalsUnderstand and validate the details of deliverables as provided by vendor and project resourcesEvaluate existing project management processes and drive continuous improvement practicesWho you are:Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferredMinimum of 3+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and 2+ years experience with API testingStrong understanding and working knowledge of Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation StudioExperience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM & other 3rd Party TechnologiesProficient with AMPScript, able to read and write SQL and understand the SSJS use caseExperience leading new Marketing Cloud implementations including Business Units, CRM Integration, User Security, Email and Cloud Pages design templates and IP warmingExperience with SegmentationStrong understanding of SQA methodologiesExperience with A/B testing, campaign analysis, and reportingStaying up-to-date on Email Marketing trends knows how to direct clientele on strategyUnderstanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in an Agile environmentAbility to adapt to short sprint cycles (2 weeks)Experience in the full software lifecycles from design to deploymentExcellent communication and leadership skillsGreat attention to detail and ability to identify, isolate, and document defectsAbility to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve resultsAn ability to conduct detailed training sessions in Marketing CloudPreferred Technical And Professional ExpertiseExperience with additional marketing automation platforms such as Pardot, Marketo, and Eloqua is preferredIntermediate or Advanced knowledge and use of Salesforce.com.Advanced knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud feature sets including Automations, Journeys, Mobile Studio, Social Studio, and Ad StudioExperience implementing best practice infrastructure programs including concepts such as Lead scoring, Lead Lifecycle, Lead Nurture, and UTM / campaign attribution trackingKnowledge of MS Dynamics, Siebel On-Demand, NetSuite, or other CRM systems, preferredJ-18808-Ljbffr
