Associate Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!The Role Develop and support web-based, mobile-aware applications and web services. Create and maintain applications including bug fixes, feature enhancements, and performance tuning. Research and implement new technology to enhance processes, security, and performance. Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, identifying and implementing solutions. Collaborate with a team to create detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates. Participate in code reviews and provide on-call production support as required.What You'll Need Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of total development experience. 1+ year of web application or services experience. Basic to intermediate knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. Proficiency in Python, C#, Java (implied from web services), XML, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Git, and web development technologies. Knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL Server, Oracle).
