You will ensure they have technical expertise, instructional skills, and confidence to deliver high-quality equipment operator training. This includes guiding them through best practices, supporting knowledge transfer, and maintaining consistency in training standards across locations. Your work will directly impact the effectiveness of client training programs and contribute to operational excellence.Ideal Candidate ProfileYou are passionate about sharing knowledge and empowering others. With a strong operating background, you confidently guide trainers to master complex systems and deliver consistent, high-quality instruction. You communicate clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and foster collaboration. Organized and solution-focused, you thrive on problem-solving and maintain excellence in every aspect of training. Flexible and proactive, you’re ready to travel extensively (up to 75%) to support client training programs.QualificationsMinimum of 6 months’ experience as an equipment operator.Post-secondary education diploma is an asset.Experience as a trainer is an assetSkills/Experience RequiredPractical, analytical, and technologically proficientTeam-oriented with strong interpersonal, organizational, and instructional skillsMust be able to perform all equipment operator tasksAbility to work at heights up to 100 feet (30 meters) with training and PPE, such as fall protection harnessAbility to work in temperature conditions ranging from 55°F to -15°F (13°C to -26°C), (PPE provided)Must be able to work, days, evenings, nights, and weekendsKey ResponsibilitiesDeliver all types of onsite training related, but not limited, to operations aspectsProvide and monitor on-the-job trainingPerform evaluation of trainee learning retentionPerform on-site evaluations of client trainers during the certification and recertification process to verify adherence to standardsComplete and submit all documentation related to training completionsSupport new employeesPerform weekly walkthrough for verification of work methodsParticipate in monthly trainer meetingHelp create and keep up to date training documentsParticipate in the creation/maintenance/review of operations documentsParticipate actively on improvement projectsAvailability to travel up to 75% as required for training or supportPerform other related duties as assignedOur benefits at PilesgroveYour advantages at a glance.
