Position: SAP BusinessObjects DeveloperLocation: Hartford, CT / Bloomfield, CT / Austin, TX Experience: 2–5 years Employment: Contract Job Description: As an SAP BusinessObjects Developer, you’ll build and support SAP BO reports and dashboards.Required: SAP BusinessObjects: Web Intelligence (WebI), IDT, Universe Design, CMCXcelsius dashboards and Live OfficeReport scheduling, publishing, and distributionBI reporting, semantic layer development, performance tuningData modeling and reporting data martsStrong SQL and data warehouse experienceDuties: BI & ReportingBuild and support SAP BO reports and dashboardsDevelop WebI reports (multi‑source, formulas, variables, data merge)Create standard (canned) and ad‑hoc reportsBuild Xcelsius dashboards and integrate Live OfficeSchedule, burst, and distribute reports to usersBusiness & Solution DesignGather reporting requirements from business usersTranslate business needs into BI solutionsWork with analysts and technical teams on reporting strategyUniverse & Data ModelingDesign and maintain SAP BO Universes using IDTBuild semantic layers for easy business useOptimize universes for performance and ad‑hoc queryingHandle universe versioning and deploymentsData & AdministrationSupport reporting databases and data martsEnsure data quality and performance with data teamsAdminister SAP BO platform (CMC)Manage users, roles, security (row‑level/object‑level)Maintain scheduling and publication services
