In this role, you will translate consumer needs into technical solutions, conduct performance and compliance testing, and help shape new cooking features and methodologies. You'll collaborate with global teams, evaluate product functionality, and contribute to advancements that enable consumers to create high-quality meals at home. Strong analytical skills, curiosity, and cross-functional collaboration are key to success.Key Responsibilities:Translate consumer needs into technical requirements and project specificationsDevelop and evaluate new cooking features, product functionalities, and testing methodologiesCreate test plans and execute cooking performance, compliance, and feature-based testingDocument results through reports, presentations, and test records for relevant stakeholdersApply international standards, internal test manuals, and sustainability targets when designing and conducting testsAlign test methodologies with global laboratories and external test institutesDevelop new testing and evaluation methods to support product innovationSupport cross-functional teams in performance, benchmarking, lifetime, cost, and quality testingBring culinary trends and innovation insights into appliance development, including recipe creation for feature demonstrationPartner with external stakeholders such as universities, labs, and culinary experts for testing or innovation supportMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering, or Culinary ArtsExperience in food preparation, cooking processes, or food product testingKnowledge of testing methodologies such as DOE and statistical evaluation (preferred)Experience in the food or appliance industry and basic understanding of electrical lab practicesStrong technical documentation skills, including report writing and communication of test resultsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to work in a matrixed global organizationPublic-facing presentation or cooking demonstration experience is a plusBenefits include:Medical, dental, vision and life insuranceCompetitive holiday and vacation time off programRetirement Savings Plan (401(k)) with relevant company contribution.Discounted products and an EAP upon hire and tuition reimbursement after 12 months of servicePlease be advised that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.Find more on:Electrolux Group North America: https://www.linkedin.com/company/electrolux/life/northamerica/ Electrolux Group Careers: https://career.electroluxgroup.com/global/enElectrolux Consumer Products, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
