Quality Inspector

Job OverviewAs a member of our quality team, you will be responsible for the inspection of CNC machined parts. You will perform incoming first piece inspections using a variety of methods such as; micrometers, calipers, vision systems and gauges. The inspector will be responsible for recording accurate data and having great communication with the rest of our team to make sure all of our pieces are in tolerance and function correctly. ShiftDay Shift (6:30AM - 4:30PM, M-F)* Sat extra overtime option Night Shift (4:30PM - 3:00AM, Mon - Thurs) *With opportunity for overtime on Fridays LocationAlsip, IL Requirements Qualifications/RequirementsBasic Math abilities including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Blueprint reading and understanding including GD&T 3+ Years Manufacturing Inspection experience (mics, calipers and vision system) Previous Inspection equipment experience 1-2 Years CMM Experience (preferred) Zeiss and Hexagon CMM exp. a plus Manufacturing experience (preferred) ResponsibilitiesHave a fantastic attitude and show a willingness to learn Our team members are prepared to teach you each and every day.
