As a vital member of our facilities management team, the Groundskeeper will play a key role in maintaining the appearance and functionality of our outdoor spaces. We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable individual who takes pride in creating a welcoming and well-maintained environment.Job Overview: The Groundskeeper is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the outdoor areas of our facilities. This includes performing a variety of landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks to ensure a clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing environment for our employees, clients, and visitors.Responsibilities:Landscaping:Mow, edge, and maintain lawns using various landscaping equipmentPlant, trim, and care for flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the overall appearance of the groundsMonitor and control weeds, pests, and diseases in outdoor spacesGrounds Maintenance:Sweep, clean, and maintain walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areasPerform regular inspections of outdoor facilities to identify and address maintenance needsEmpty trash receptacles and ensure proper disposal of wasteIrrigation and Watering:Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawnsMonitor water usage and report any issues with irrigation equipmentEquipment Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment, such as lawnmowers and trimmersReport any equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with the facilities management teamSeasonal Tasks:Assist with snow removal and salting during winter monthsParticipate in seasonal landscaping projects and initiativesQualifications:Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferredKnowledge of basic horticulture and landscaping practicesAbility to operate and maintain landscaping equipmentPhysical stamina and ability to perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenancePowered by JazzHRQ3lNptDo14
