Come join us as a Lead Software Engineer, you will be needed for your skills and experience stated in your CV/resume and experience with AWS, ReactJS, MongoDB, APIs and different languages and platforms.Position Lead Software Engineer Location REMOTE Employment FULL-TIME Compensation DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE Benefits/Perks Paid Time Off, Medical Stipend, Professional Development Opportunities, Vibrant Company Culture, Work With Amazing Team, Recognition for Achievement, Two Bonuses Per YearROLES & RESPONSIBILTIESDrive innovation through the ongoing evaluation, design and implementation of new technologyManage AWS infrastructure and services including but not limited to other trends and platformsConfigure, build, release, enforce CI/CD pipelines and assure best practices applied & followedDevelop & guide team members with front-end development in HTML, CSS, JS, ReactJS & NextJSSet coding standards and lead code review sessions with EngineersWork closely and mentor team members on projects using Next.js, ReactJS and other languagesChampion Agile/Scrum best-practices, processes, and tools in support of DevOps processesLead and manage RESTful API and GraphQL API, and provide supports internal/external teamsCreate new architectures for better scaling and performance of back-end servicesLead in creating and managing databases like MongoDB and/or MySQL, etc.Create and lead development of automated tests using Jest and Cypress, or similar toolsExplore, recommend and lead implementation of new technologies, opportunities and ideasSupport, lead and work closely with onsite & remote teams in very dynamic Scrum environmentMentor, motivate and grow engineering teams with dedicated mentorship and training programsFollow audit and cyber security guidelines and partnering for certifications/reportingOversee & lead Engineers to design, develop, and deploy products within timeline and budgetProvide off-hours, extended, and weekend support as needed for queue and project progress, and emergenciesWork closely with Management and Business to properly understand and deliver projectsManage/coordinate other Developers/team members and own Sprint deliverablesRequirementsBachelor's Degree and/or 3-4 years of job-related experienceHave in-depth knowledge and practical experience with AWS Services & Security practicesHands-on development experience with a broad range of languages, frameworks & technologiesKnowledge of all SDLC phases, from concept/prototype to finished product.In depth knowledge of high availability (HA) design and implementation across AWS servicesSolid understanding of SDLC models as well as expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum principlesHands on experience with RESTful,GraphQL API development and SQL and NoSQL DBsStrong technical documentation skills - workflows, ERD and support/job-aid documentationRigor in high code quality, automated testing/scripts, and other engineering best practicesDelight in building great products with purpose that are a joy to use and benefits end-usersbecome a mavenUX/UI EngineerLorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipisicing elit.
