Based in Wellesley, MA, we are dedicated to delivering excellence in dance education. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Dance Instructor role located in Wellesley, MA. The Dance Instructor will be responsible for planning and leading dance classes across different styles and levels, developing lesson plans, and ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for students. Additional responsibilities include demonstrating proper techniques, providing constructive feedback, choreographing routines, and preparing students for performances. The instructor will collaborate with other staff to enhance the overall quality of dance programs at Astela Inc. Qualifications Proficiency in Dance Instruction and Dance EducationExperience in teaching and creating engaging, student-focused lessonsStrong foundation in various forms of dance and a passion for the artUnderstanding of music and rhythm as part of dance choreographyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environmentPrior experience in choreographing for performances is a plusBachelor’s degree in Dance, Performing Arts, or a related field is preferred
