Full Stack Software Engineer (Go / JavaScript / Python)

Overview In this role you join an integrated product team to build high-quality full-stack applications deployed to hybrid cloud. You will own features end-to-end across backend, frontend, and data layers, collaborating with engineers to design, implement, and refine solutions. You’ll work with Go, JavaScript, and Python in a modern stack, contributing to architecture and testing practices. Location is Ashburn, VA with a hybrid schedule and minimal travel. You’ll contribute to critical transportation and defense tech that impacts real-world operations. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Agile teammates to design, develop, test, and implement secure full-stack solutionsCapture and review functional requirements; participate in architectural design and code reviewsBuild and ship end-to-end features across web applications (React frontend, Go/Node.js backend, MySQL/MongoDB data layer)Develop and extend the Go automation agent for device configuration, testing, and real-time data flows over MQTTContribute ideas to improve development practices and share knowledge across the teamEngage in testing, including unit/integration tests for backend services and end-to-end tests for web apps Key requirementsProficiency in Go, JavaScript/Node.js, and PythonStrong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OO/functional designExperience with Linux-based distributed systems and Go services that interface with hardware or devicesExperience building RESTful services and working with MySQL and MongoDBFrontend experience with React and cloud deployment to AWS (ECS, EKS, RDS, API Gateway)Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and E2E) using Ginkgo, Cypress, or Postman5+ years with a Bachelor’s in CS or 3+ years with a Master, or equivalentAbility to obtain a security clearanceStrong problem-solving abilitiesGood communication skillsCollaboration and teamwork orientationGo programmingJavaScript/Node.jsPython
