Title:Senior Analyst, IT Financial OperationsDescription:The Senior Analyst, IT Financial Operations serves as a strategic partner within the Enterprise IT Business Operations team, driving financial stewardship, cost optimization, and operational excellence across IT spend categories including software, hardware, cloud services, and resources. This leadership-oriented role is responsible for budget reconciliation, cost management, and financial reporting, while ensuring alignment with procurement, finance, accounting, and vendor management processes. The ideal candidate brings a strong financial acumen, a proactive mindset, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance transparency, accountability, and value realization across the IT portfolio.Key Responsibilities:Financial Strategy & Budget Management• Lead monthly budget reconciliation efforts, ensuring accuracy across cross-charges, and reclassifications.• Oversee cost management initiatives, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiency across IT spend.• Partner with Finance to validate budget availability and ensure alignment with strategic financial plans.• Maintain financial records for resource cross-charges.Contract & Spend Oversight• Manage contract lifecycle activities including renewals, validations, and risk mitigation (e.g., auto-renewals).• Review and validate spend against existing contracts with monthly reporting for higher spend/credits usage.• Collaborate with Procurement to ensure timely and compliant execution of PR/PO processes.• Track and attach executed SOWs for all professional services agreements and ensure proper cost center identification.Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement• Act as a liaison between EIT leadership, Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Vendor Management to ensure cohesive operations.• Provide strategic guidance on contractor extensions, vendor proposals, and resource planning.• Lead internal reviews for net new requests and ensure timely intake and resolution.Reporting & Analytics• Own and update weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and metrics.• Deliver actionable insights through ad-hoc reporting and dashboard creation using tools like Power BI and Excel, as needed.• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of data submissions for leadership and operational reviews.Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.• 5+ years of progressive experience in IT financial operations, budget management, or procurement.• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional financial initiatives and vendor relationships.• Expertise in financial systems (Workday), reporting tools (Power BI), and collaboration platforms (SharePoint).• Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
