This role requires strong depth in immigration and employment law, with the ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and confidently handle high-volume legal work. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about the legal field, with strong judgment and the ability to take ownership of assignments while supporting attorneys in employment and immigration matters.ResponsibilitiesSupport Labor & Employment and Immigration legal matters under attorney supervisionManage and assist with immigration-related legal work, including employment-based immigration operationsHandle high-volume legal tasks in a fast-paced environmentMaintain organization of casework and manage competing priorities effectivelyAssist attorneys with documentation, filings, and case preparationCommunicate case status and updates as requiredEnsure accuracy and completeness of legal documentation and recordsSupport ongoing legal operations and workflow needs within the teamRequirements Paralegal certificate (ABA-approved) or equivalent paralegal experience preferredExperience supporting employment/labor matters and/or immigration operations requiredStrong working knowledge of immigration and employment law (must be able to speak confidently to both)Ability to operate in a high-volume, fast-paced legal environmentStrong judgment, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing prioritiesAbility to work independently with strong ownership and initiativeExcellent communication skills and attention to detailAbility to clearly explain employment gaps if applicableDepth of experience in immigration and employment law preferred over generalist experienceMetasys Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
