Credentialing Manager

Are you an experienced credentialing professional who enjoys creating organization, improving processes, and helping a growing healthcare organization operate efficiently? We are seeking an experienced and confident Credentialing Specialist to oversee provider credentialing and recredentialing efforts for a rapidly expanding healthcare organization with continued growth on the horizon.Key ResponsibilitiesManage provider credentialing, recredentialing, and enrollment activitiesMaintain provider records and monitor expirations for licenses, certifications, and other required documentationCoordinate with Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, providers, and healthcare facilitiesEnsure compliance with credentialing and regulatory requirementsDevelop and improve credentialing workflows, policies, and proceduresSchedule & CompensationFull-time, 35-36 hours per weekMonday-Thursday: 9:00AM-5:00PMFriday: 9:00AM-1:00PMFull benefits package available$35-$40/hour, with additional consideration for candidates with leadership experienceOn-site in Brooklyn, initially, with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement as the employee becomes established in the role Minimum QualificationsPrevious healthcare credentialing experienceStrong understanding of provider enrollment, credentialing, and recredentialing processesExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience credentialing large provider groups or multi-specialty practicesPrevious leadership, supervisory, or team lead experienceThis is a long-term, career-oriented opportunity for someone who is confident in their knowledge of credentialing requirements and enjoys taking ownership of a critical function.
