Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. You'll work collaboratively with a team of educators and other specialists, advocating for student well-being and supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.Key Qualifications:Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited programValid South Carolina School Psychologist credential (or eligibility to obtain)Practical experience with psychological assessments, counseling, and intervention planning in a K-12 settingStrong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and familiesKnowledge of special education guidelines, RTI/MTSS processes, and IEP participationAbility to maintain accurate records and comprehensive documentationCommitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive school environmentOnsite availability beginning August 6, 2026, through May 27, 2027What You'll Do:Conduct psychological and educational assessments and interpret resultsParticipate actively in student support teams, IEP meetings, and eligibility determinationsDeliver counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services for studentsDevelop and implement targeted intervention strategiesCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomesMaintain timely, thorough documentation and compliance with state/national guidelinesThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week), with a single opening available.
