Program Manager
Title: Technical Program Manager - AI/GenAI, Azure & AKSLocation: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)Duration: 6 Months SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with strong experience managing AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, AI Agent, and Microsoft Azure-based technology initiatives. The TPM will be responsible for gathering and translating business requirements into clear technical requirements, coordinating with business and technical stakeholders, managing program execution, and ensuring successful delivery of AI/GenAI solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, Azure Al services, APIs, microservices, Kubernetes/AKS, and cloud-native application development. While the role does not require the candidate to be a hands-on developer, theyshould be technically strong enough to understand architecture discussions, challenge requirements, identify dependencies and risks, and effectively coordinate engineering teams. The TPM will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, AI/ML engineers, developers, data engineers, DevOps teams, QA teams, security teams, and infrastructure teams to drive initiatives from requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and production support.Key Responsibilities, Requirements Gathering & Business AnalysisWork closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and SMEs to understand business objectives, processes, pain points, and desired outcomes.Lead requirements-gathering sessions, discovery workshops, stakeholder interviews, and solution discussions.Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional and technical requirements for engineering teams.Document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, use cases, and non-functional requirements.Identify gaps, ambiguities, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints in requirements.Facilitate requirement walkthroughs and obtain stakeholder alignment and sign-off.Work with architects and engineering teams to validate the technical feasibility of proposed requirements.Prioritize requirements based on business value, technical complexity, dependencies, and delivery timelines.Ensure requirements' remain aligned with the overall product/program roadmapTechnical Program ManagementOwn program planning, execution, tracking, and delivery across multiple technical workstreams.Coordinate activities across AI/ML, application development, Azure, DevOps, AKS, QA, security, data, and infrastructure teams.Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, schedules, RAID logs, dependency trackers, and status reports.Track development, testing, deployment, and production-readiness activities.Identify cross-team dependencies and proactively drive resolution.Monitor program risks, issues, blockers, and technical dependencies.Establish clear ownership and accountability across teams.Facilitate daily/weekly technical and program status meetings.Provide regular status updates to leadership and stakeholders.Escalate risks and blockers appropriately with recommended mitigation strategies.Stakeholder ManagementAct as the primary coordination point between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams.Facilitate communication between product owners, business SMEs, architects, developers, AI/ML engineers, DevOps, QA, security, and infrastructure teams.Manage stakeholder expectations regarding scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery status.Drive alignment across stakeholders when requirements or priorities conflict.Facilitate technical discussions and ensure decisions are documented and communicated.Prepare executive-level status reports, presentations, dashboards, and program updates.Conduct requirement reviews, architecture discussions, sprint reviews, demos, and stakeholder walkthroughs.Required Skills & ExperienceVery Good experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management, Product Delivery, or a similar technical leadership role.Strong experience managing AI/ML, Generative AI, LLM, Al Agent, or cloud-based technology programs.Strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, stakeholder management, and technical program delivery.Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical requirements and actionable work items.Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI Agents, and Agentic Al concepts.Good understanding of LangGraph, and AI Agent architectures.Working knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Azure Al Foundry, Azure Al Search, and other Azure Al services.Good understanding of RAG architecture, including data ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, retrieval, and prompt engineering.Good understanding of AI Agent tools, workflows, APIs, integrations, and enterprise systems.Strong understanding of Azure cloud architecture and cloud-native application development.Good understanding of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Ingress, Services, Secrets, ConfigMaps, scaling, and health probes.Understanding of CI/CD, Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins, Git, and Azure Container Registry (ACR).Experience coordinating microservices, REST APIs, databases, and enterprise application integrations. Understanding of MIORS/LLMODS. Al observability, monitoring, evaluation, and production lifecycle management.Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working with engineering teams.Strong documentation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, risk-management, and decision-making skills.
