Teaching assignments may be at the elementary, middle, or high school level and will be determined based on district needs and candidate qualifications.The successful candidates will provide special education services to students with diverse learning needs, collaborate closely with general education staff and related service providers, and develop and implement high-quality, individualized instruction aligned with students' IEPs.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal special education lawProvide direct instruction and support to students with diverse learning needsCollaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to support student growth and access to the general education curriculumMonitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data and student needsMaintain accurate and timely due process documentation Qualifications:Current Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)Strong knowledge of special education due process requirements and documentationAbility to write clear, comprehensive, and individualized IEPsStrong organizational, communication, and collaboration skillsExperience using a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needsDemonstrated commitment to professional growth and continuous improvementPositive, enthusiastic, and student-centered approachGrowth mindset and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment Core Expectations for All Byron Public Schools Staff:All staff are expected to:Support the mission, vision, and goals of Byron Public SchoolsFoster a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students and staffCollaborate effectively with colleagues to meet student needsDemonstrate adaptability, professionalism, and a strong work ethicMaintain confidentiality and promote a safe, secure school environmentBe dependable, accountable, and reflective in professional practice Salary and Benefits:Salary: Placement on the Byron Education Association Master Agreement salary schedule, commensurate with education and experienceContract Length: Per teacher contract (school year) To Apply:Applications must be submitted online at http://bit.ly/byron-employment.The position will remain open until filled.
