Team Leader (Manager), Trade FinanceAt Mashreq Bank NY, we are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our NY-Operations team as the Team Leader (Manager), Trade Finance. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and overseeing the Trade Finance and Working Capital Operations of the New York Branch. Primary responsibility involves ensuring the efficient and timely processing of transactions while adhering to established guidelines and U.S. regulations. Salary Range - Annual $95,000 - $160,000 Key Result AreasManage and oversee the Trade Finance area, ensuring efficient and timely processing of transactions. Liaise with the FTC-NY Team in Dubai to ensure TF transactions and loans are handled within established time frames, maintaining high customer satisfaction. Provide expert advice and guidance to the FI-Sales Department on new products and transactions. Implement and enforce documented policies, procedures, and U.S. regulations, including BSA/AML, OFAC, Anti-Boycott, and GLBA. Act as a backup for the Head of Trade Operations, managing branch operations during their absence. Ensure compliance with internal controls and risk management frameworks. Monitor and analyze trade finance activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring the branch remains compliant. Lead and mentor a team of trade finance professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Trade Finance, with a strong understanding of U.S. regulations. Proven track record in managing and leading a team of professionals. Excellent knowledge of trade finance products, services, and processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant banking software. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
