Director of Billing

Our client is seeking a Billing Director to work in their office (Agoura Hills or Anaheim, CA). This position can be hybrid or in-office. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $60 to $67 per hour. Responsibilities:Responsible for review, corrections, and finalization of invoicesDevelop and work with efficient billing procedures, policies, and toolsCreate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end billing reports and note discrepanciesOversee the client billing and collections process, and maintain relationships and strict deadlinesTrain, supervise, evaluate and develop members of the Billing Department and other stakeholdersParticipate in the recruiting process, evaluating candidates and making recommendations for hirePrepare and analyze client budgets or statements Qualifications and Requirements: Workers' Compensation e-billing experience10+ years of complex billing experience in a law firm5+ years in a management roleBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum of 4 years of presenting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end billing reports, with the ability to create, edit, and present complex dataExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsAdvanced skills in Excel and Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with Bottomline, Ascent, Collaborti, Quovant, Counselink, TyMetrix360, and other similar sitesREF47398#LI-POST
