We also offer 17 PTO days, 8 Paid holidays, 401K match, and Paid OT.We are excited to review your resume for the Engineer role for a MAJOR automotive client!Engineer Benefits:5 weeks of Paid Time OffMedical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Vision Benefits (100% employer paid premiums)401(k)Paid OT at 1.5x (10 average per week expected)And more!Job Description:Leading, planning, procurement, installation, trial, and launching of engine/transmission machining or assembly linesDeveloping operating process plans to machine or assemble parts for assigned area of the Powertrain departmentCreating and maintaining schedule and budget for assigned areaDevelop / improve standard tools and benchmarksLead and participate in cross functional working groups across local facility and corporate departments to achieve project goalsVisualize activity plans and schedules to facilitate quick consensus building to secure project priorities.Analyze critical manufacturing issues and clearly communicate root cause and countermeasure plans to stakeholders.Will be spending 20% time on floor.What you bring:Bachelor’s degree in engineering or College.Experience in process engineering, including schedule and budget managementAutoCAD experience including the ability to read, interpret and modify3D Cad experience including the ability to read and interpretWillingness to work required overtime and travel as needed both domestic and internationalFlexibility for business travel, both domestic and international (Japan), up to 20%Ability to work weekend and shutdown work (such as July and December holidays) as needed (45 -50 hours a week in general)
