Shift Lead/Supervisor

Job Details IQ Resource Group is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Shift Leader / Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily production operations, maintaining quality and inventory accuracy, supervising employees, and ensuring a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and previous experience in a manufacturing or plastic extrusion environment. Pay$55,000-$65,000 per year Shift3rd Shift 10:30pm - 7:00amMonday night through Friday night Position ResponsibilitiesLead and coordinate production employees during assigned shiftEnsure production schedules and targets are metMaintain inventory and material accuracy using ERP/software systemsMonitor raw material usage and production reportingBalance and review direct labor and WIP transactions dailyOversee quality control processes and ensure compliance with company standardsRead and interpret technical drawings, reports, and work instructionsTrain, coach, and motivate employees while providing performance feedbackAssist with continuous improvement and cost reduction initiativesMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentCommunicate effectively with incoming/outgoing shift leaders and managementFill in on production lines as needed QualificationsMust be at least 18 years oldHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced education preferredMinimum of 5 years of plastic extrusion experience requiredPrior leadership or supervisory experience preferredStrong computer and ERP system skillsAbility to read technical drawings and use measuring devicesStrong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMust successfully pass pre-employment drug screening and physical evaluation Physical RequirementsFrequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, and lifting up to 70 lbsAbility to climb ladders and operate forklifts after certificationAbility to work in varying warehouse temperatures and moderate to loud environmentsAbility to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who:Leads by exampleHas strong attention to detailPromotes teamwork and accountabilityPrioritizes safety and qualityTakes initiative and drives results Apply today to join a team focused on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement!
