Our work is driven by a deep commitment to equity, sustainability, and excellence—and we’re looking for engineers who share that vision.What You’ll DoDesign highways, local roads, parking lots, traffic signals, and lighting systemsPrepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and design studiesDevelop concept plans, grant applications, and technical reportsProvide design support during construction and review engineering drawingsCollaborate with clients, construction teams, and internal stakeholdersAssist in developing project proposals, scopes, schedules, and staffing estimatesRequirementsWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a transportation emphasisLicensed Professional Engineer (PE)5–10+ years of transportation design experienceProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MicroStationFamiliarity with AutoCAD, GEOPAK, OpenRoads, Civil3D, ArcInfo, or Microsoft Project is a plusKnowledge of MoDOT, IDOT, and IL Tollway standards is highly desirableWho You AreA collaborative, solutions-oriented engineer with strong communication and organizational skillsPassionate about designing infrastructure that serves people and communitiesCommitted to continuous improvement, innovation, and qualityReady to lead or support design efforts on projects that make a real differenceWhy ABNA?We’re doing work that matters—building safer roads, more connected communities, and a better future.
